This shop was able to diagnose a problem that Toyota’s shop was unable to. That itself says a lot.... I’m glad to say that my Prius has been running fine since he came over to check out the hybrid battery and diagnose the problem.

I owe these guys my complete gratitude. Very responsive and great customer service. They even drove two hours to replace my hybrid battery. Not to mention the great warranty they offered me, as well as saving me from the ridiculous price Toyota quoted me. I will be seeing them again if I have any issues, but hopefully that won't happen. Was quick! Delivery and installation in my drive way was more than i thought could be done. Very helpful indeed. Would of been 5 stars but one of my seat bolts needed rechased, the tool needed to do it was forgotten (not an event expected) as a result I now have to drive into Indianapolis to there shop to get it done.#thus4outof5

The dashboard of my wife's 2007 (with 185K miles) lit up with all of the classic signs of "hybrid battery failure." I got a sticker shock when I asked the Toyota dealer the price for a new battery. Then I called and spoke to Chad who was great. He explained the process that he uses to replace any bad cells then recondition the battery. He provided mobile service, picking up the battery the day after I called, returning to his shop, and returning to my home the following day to reinstall my refurbished battery. He also did a road test.Now my wife's Prius is happy again. Also the Engine Display page frequently shows a green, fully charged hybrid battery. I am still on the first tank of gas following the battery repair, but I am also seeing significant improvement in the MPG.Thanks, Chad!

We highly recommend Motorcells for work on electric battery powered cars, given how knowledgeable, helpful, fairly priced, and honest Chad was.We brought our 2013 Honda Civic Hybrid to Chad at Motorcells when various warning lights popped up, since our regular mechanic doesn't work with hybrid batteries. He identified the inverter as the issue and told us there were service bulletins for the inverter online for our car. The exact issue with the inverter would have to be identified by a dealer though, so as he advised, we went to a dealer. Chad quoted us a price in case the quote from the dealer was considerably higher, breaking down the costs.He didn't try to cheat us by charging us for a new inverter and installing it; he was honest about what was in our best interest. He also shared quite a bit of information about hybrid cars with us, an enthusiast for sure.The Honda dealer installed a new inverter covered by an extended warranty due to the service bulletin (which is was nice to know about ahead of time thanks to Chad) and then all the diagnostic codes cleared.We also have a Honda CRV for which the engine light had come on, and since we were there (we had really come for the civic), Chad kindly diagnosed the problem as just being a clip on a cover inside the car hood. He reattached the clip and the engine codes cleared.If we have any issues in the future, we'll bring our car back to Motorcells.

The battery light came on in my 2011 Honda CR-Z so I picked up the phone and gave them a call. Chad was very kind in helping me find a path to get my car fixed . He has referred me to get my diagnostics and has offered to continue helping me figure out what the best thing to do for my car in my budget once we have the diagnostic readings.

Chad is heads above anyone in dealing with hybrid Batteries. Unlike the dealerships he has changed hundreds of them. He drove over 2 1/2 hours to service my Hybrid Battery in my 2005 Prius with a new Toyota Hybrid Battery. I would call NO ONE other than Chad and Motorcells for any Hybrid Battery Issues!!! Chat Donnell diagnosed and replaced the faulty hybrid battery of my 2005 Prius with a refurbished battery very quickly and with high quality. He explained all details of the process which was very interesting and helpful. Highly recommended! You save a lot of money as opposed to letting Toyota replace the battery with a new one.

Had great, responsive, and knowledgeable service. There were some annoyances at first in the quality of the initial battery installed, but because of their warranty, they replied swiftly to fix any problem that came up and fixed it proper. I would recommend this place to anyone again, and I will continue to use them for future hybrid needs.

Chad and his services are trustworthy and transparent. He takes the time to list out options, prices, and important, detailed information of the whole battery process. He educates you and makes certain that you understand everything and answers all questions before proceeding. Even most important, he takes the additional time out of his busy schedule to build a relationship and connect. I appreciate the fast but quality worth work... not to mention the grand or two he saved my bank account from :)
