Was able to get my hybrid battery replaced for 1/4th of the dealer estimate and battery is working great. They also went above and beyond solving a safety problem with my back seat that was discovered in the course of replacing the battery.

We highly recommend Motorcells for work on electric battery powered cars, given how knowledgeable, helpful, fairly priced, and honest Chad was.We brought our 2013 Honda Civic Hybrid to Chad at Motorcells when various warning lights popped up, since our regular mechanic doesn't work with hybrid batteries. He identified the inverter as the issue and told us there were service bulletins for the inverter online for our car. The exact issue with the inverter would have to be identified by a dealer though, so as he advised, we went to a dealer. Chad quoted us a price in case the quote from the dealer was considerably higher, breaking down the costs.He didn't try to cheat us by charging us for a new inverter and installing it; he was honest about what was in our best interest. He also shared quite a bit of information about hybrid cars with us, an enthusiast for sure.The Honda dealer installed a new inverter covered by an extended warranty due to the service bulletin (which is was nice to know about ahead of time thanks to Chad) and then all the diagnostic codes cleared.We also have a Honda CRV for which the engine light had come on, and since we were there (we had really come for the civic), Chad kindly diagnosed the problem as just being a clip on a cover inside the car hood. He reattached the clip and the engine codes cleared.If we have any issues in the future, we'll bring our car back to Motorcells.

Could not recommend this service more! Had my beloved 2006 Prius' hybrid battery die on me and the dealership wanted almost 3x as much as Motorcells charged. Little did I know I would also get ABOVE AND BEYOND customer service. Chad communicated promptly, explained everything so I didn't feel in the dark, leant me a car while mine was being serviced, and had my Prius running better than ever in an hour. Yes, you're getting a refurbished battery instead of a new, but the warranty is the same; it makes total sense for an older car. Highly recommend!

My wife and I made two trips to visit with Chad and Tim before the purchase of our vehicle. Both gentlemen were genuine, honest and a pleasure to get to know. There were no high pressure sales tactics, or incessant sales phone calls, which unfortunately we had to deal with some other dealers. It's been about a month since the purchase of my car and I love it.

When Toyota wanted 3700 for a battery replacement I had to look elsewhere. Chad was able to come to my house, install the new battery same day and under 1000 dollars. All the dash lights have been reset and the car runs like new even with 200k miles on it.

Worked with Chad last year when I needed some help with my Camry Hybrid's battery. He was very helpful and fixed the issue at a fraction of the cost that a dealer would charge. Highly recommend this business! If you're having issues with your hybrid and don't have a warranty, give them a call before doing anything else!
